Bryce Canyon has eight marked and maintained hiking trails that can be hiked in less than a day (round trip time). Mossy Cave (one hour, State Route 12 northwest of Tropic), Rim Trail (5–6 hours, anywhere on rim), Bristlecone Loop (one hour, Rainbow Point), and Queens Garden (1–2 hours, Sunrise Point) are easy to moderate hikes. Navajo Loop (1–2 hours, Sunset Point) and Tower Bridge (2–3 hours, north of Sunrise Point) are moderate hikes. Fairyland Loop (4–5 hours, Fairyland Point) and Peekaboo Loop (3–4 hours, Bryce Point) are strenuous hikes. Several of these trails intersect, allowing hikers to combine routes for more challenging hikes.

The park also has two trails designated for overnight hiking. You will need a backcountry camping permit to hike these.

Wishing everyone a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend! Memorial Day is to remember those who have died in the service of their country. We are grateful for those who fought for our freedom, those fighting for our freedom, and those who will fight for our freedom.

BEST PARK IN ST. GEORGE!!!!
Thunder junction is amazing. Lots of room to run around, swing, slide, and $1 train rides. Bring a swimming suit for the kids because there is a little splash pad and a waterfall to play in. Many of you have probably already been here, but there is so much to do. The nature center has 1 week old baby swans. You can stand on the deck overlooking the pond and spot turtles, fish, ducks, swans, and much more! (If you look in the trees by the pond you might be able to spot a merganser)

List of things all within a couple hundred yards:
Splash pad, train rides, gardens, ponds, picnic tables, bbq stands, sand volleyball, tennis courts, wildlife. @ Thunder Junction All Abilities Park

Zion National Park

In 1919 Zion became the first National Park in Utah. Distinguished by its steep red cliffs, this park will astound you with its viewpoints, hanging gardens and emerald pools. For a quick tour, ride the Zion Canyon Shuttle along the Virgin River and hear about the history of the park as you look up at the sheer cliffs. For a more quiet excursion, rent bikes and coast along Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. And if you want your jaw to drop with stunning views, check out Watchman Trail, Canyon Overlook or Angels Landing.
