Hey there Facebook world! I haven't posted on this page in a while so thought I would come on and reintroduce myself to all my new followers here.

My name is Rachel and I've been a self-taught seem stress for about 15 years now. I have four children and am a recently licensed Master esthetician at The Not So Frumpy Mom . Me and my husband also own St. George Mobile Massage .

With sewing my favorite thing to do is clothing alterations, as I'm hugely into fashion and I definitely believe that we need to make our clothes work for us. There's so many things that you can do to make that article of clothing be just right for you and it makes all the difference! I pride myself in good quality work, very reasonable prices and probably the fastest turnaround time in the city. I know my limits and I'm honest and truthful about what projects I can take and which ones I've got to pass on.

Rachel's Custom Sewing has been absolutely slammed since I arrived home Tuesday evening from my vacay✂️!
My business has taken many twists and turns and developed into something that I'm so proud of over the years💕, and it all goes back to me being grateful that my mom had taught me so lovingly over two decades ago! Or take this romper I have, it went down to almost my ankles and I cut it off for shorts for the hot summer ahead☀️🔥! Quick and easy and makes a huge difference in wardrobe revival🙌

I seriously think today is the FIRST day in like 2 MONTHS that I have had no sewing projects on my table (besides my own tub, haha) for clients...so if you need something done my schedule is open to serve you, nobody is quicker in town I bet!

Man alive I've been sewing up a storm here🧵🧷! This beautiful formal dress was a mom's that was passed down to her daughter with a teeny tiny little waist😅, so we took in the zipper about 5 inches to make it fit and it turned out great💃!
When you know you can alter clothes✂️ to make them fit, it opens up your world of style and possibility🙌

Hi everybody! My name is Rachel and I've been a freelance seamstress for about 15 years or so! My own mama taught me how to sew and then I've been self-taught ever since. I've been busy raising 4️⃣ kids, a couple of them with special needs and sewing on the side has been something that's brought me a lot of joy!
