Technician Q&A
Question: “What’s the number one question patients ask you?”
Answer: “Why do my eyes water?”
Surprisingly, the most common cause is often dry eye!
It sounds backwards - if your eyes are watering, how could they be dry? When your eyes don't have enough lubrication, they become irritated and try to compensate by producing excess tears. This is especially common in dry climates (we’re looking at you, St. George summers).
So while watery eyes may seem like a sign of too many tears, they’re often your eyes’ way of asking for more moisture and better balance. 👁️

📢STAFF SHOUT-OUT
••••• TAKAYLA •••••
Provider Support Representative
A Cedar City native, Takayla has been a valued member of our team since 2023.
Takayla loves working closely with our doctors and enjoys the challenges that come with helping patients and learning something new every day. Her calm demeanor and passion for learning make her a wonderful asset to our team.
Her coworkers describe her as organized, a go-getter, and someone who is always willing to step up and help wherever needed - a true team player.
When she's not at work, you'll likely find her spending time outdoors on her electric dirt bike with her 4-year-old daughter or embracing her creative side through art. She also has an impressive musical talent - she can play both the guitar and piano by ear.
Thank you for all you do! 💞

Front Desk Q&A
Question: "What’s the number one question you get asked at the front desk?"
Answer: "Is the doctor running on time?"
Your time is valuable, and we truly appreciate our patients' patience and understanding. Our team works hard every day to keep the schedule running as smoothly as possible so you can be seen close to your appointment time.
In a perfect world, every appointment would go exactly as planned. However, healthcare can be unpredictable, and occasionally emergencies or complex patient needs may cause delays.
Please know that we will always do everything within our control to keep the clinic on schedule while ensuring every patient receives the care and attention they deserve.
