We are honored to display a handcrafted diorama from artist Wendy Jack, inspired by a historic gas station she discovered while living in Williams, Arizona. Every detail tells a story of creativity, persistence, and craftsmanship.
Built from found materials, modified objects, and countless hand-carved pieces, this incredible work showcases what can happen when imagination meets dedication.

Our Transportation and Manufacturing programs fired up the grill to celebrate something worth recognizing—the successful completion of another cohort.
Behind every graduate is a story of early mornings, late nights, problem-solving, perseverance, and growth. This barbecue was an opportunity to come together, reflect on how far everyone has come, and celebrate the accomplishments of our students before they take the next step in their career.

Dixie Technical College is proud to announce that our Fire & Rescue program has officially received UFRA accreditation. 🚒🔥
This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and leadership that have gone into building a program designed to prepare the next generation of firefighters for real-world service.
During the accreditation site visit, UFRA representatives spoke highly of our facilities, instruction, and hands-on training environment, specifically highlighting the innovative fire structure built for student training. Local fire chiefs also emphasized the growing need for firefighters across Utah and expressed excitement about hiring Dixie Tech graduates.
UFRA accreditation means our students are receiving training that meets recognized industry standards, giving graduates greater credibility, stronger career opportunities, and the confidence to enter the workforce prepared to serve their communities.
A huge congratulations to Program Instructor Tim Andrus and everyone involved in building this incredible program. We are proud of what this achievement means for our students, our college, and the future of fire service training in Southern Utah.
