Meet Tw***ie, a 5-year-old cream piebald miniature dachshund with a sweet name inspired by the famous Hostess cake!

Tw***ie belongs to AAUW scholarship recipient Lilly Rogers, who also shared her inspiring story at one of our luncheon events.

This mischievous pup has two favorite hobbies: stealing socks and destroying toys at record speed—usually in under 10 minutes! 🧦😂

We’re still celebrating the dog days of summer here in the AAUW community! Do you know a member that has a very cute pooch send a picture. Reach out via messenger and I’ll send you an email or a number to text with that picture of your pooch who deserves to be highlighted in the dog days of summer.

Using our constitutional right to vote for our representatives is one of the most important things we can do as citizens of the United States of America.

Make sure to check your voter registration - even if you miss the June 12 deadline, you can still register for November's vote.

Ballots must be to the county clerk by 8pm on June 23rd. Please note the change for mail in ballots from being POSTMARKED by June 23rd, to the requirement that your ballot must be RECEIVED by June 23rd at 8pm.

Something that may be odd to you: you will not see my name on the ballot! You'll see me in November. Until then, make sure to be involved.

Meet Murphy , the beloved rescue pup of AAUW member Mikki Madden! 🐾

Murphy is a dog with a big personality and strong opinions. He loves trips to the dog park, has mastered the art of barking persistently until treats appear, and has even been known to make the occasional appearance at book club. As a rescue dog, Cooper has proven that sometimes the best companions come with a few quirks—and more character than most people!

We're pretty sure he believes every gathering is better when it includes dogs, treats, and plenty of attention. ❤️🐕
