Chevy Sonic with a camshaft position sensor code. Two separate cam sensors were installed. A lab scope made quick work of this one. I noticed the signal was missing something. One of the teeth on the exhaust camshaft was broken off. This one will need a camshaft. Just another reason why every shop needs a lab scope.

Customer states they have an oil leak. They just had a C.V. axle installed at another shop. This is the reason why following proper torque procedure can be crucial and can have devastating consequences if not followed. This Audi is getting a new transmission.

Installed a new power board in the FICM from a 6.0 powerstroke. The board takes 12v and ups it to 48v. The old one was only around 36v and dropping. The new one worked flawlessly.

Pretty interesting diagnostic. 2013 Kia Optima running rough and very rich fuel trim. I managed to capture this waveform to verify a faulty fuel injector. The yellow trace is fuel rail pressure and the green trace is my sync from the #2 fuel injector. You can see how much further the pressure in the rail dropped when the #2 fuel injector fired. This indicates that it is over fueling. The injector was replaced and the vehicle was fixed.
