Boundless Freedom Project
Lighting a path to freedom by sharing mindfulness, ethics & compassion practices with people impacted by incarceration.
Boundless Freedom Project is a 501c3 organization. We continue to support, expand, and develop our Buddhist offerings inside prison by providing Buddhist religious services for incarcerated individuals and ongoing support for Buddhist chaplains interested in serving the prison population, advocating against religious discrimination within the CDCR, and distributing Buddhist materials to any interested individual inside the prison system.

Remember. Reflect. Recommit.
This Juneteenth, we honor the generations who persevered in the face of injustice and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom that continues to inspire change.
May we remember that our liberation is deeply connected and that building a more compassionate and just world is work we do...together.

Difficult emotions are part of every human experience. We don’t have to navigate them alone.
Tonight, our virtual sangha with Lorraine Hobbs explores how self-compassion can help us work with the pain of connection and disconnection.
Together, we’ll create space for reflection and community while exploring how self-compassion can support us through life’s challenges.

Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and lives remembered on Memorial Day.
Mindfulness teaches us to pause and reflect with intention, and to remain present with both remembrance and care for one another.
May we move through today with compassion and respect for all who have served and sacrificed.

What would shift if we led this week with care instead of pressure?
🪷 Care for ourselves.
🪷 Care for our communities.
🪷 Care for the people carrying burdens we may never fully see.
This quote, shared by team member Monica Florez, gently reminds us to begin the day with greater presence and care for ourselves and one another.
Wishing everyone a grounded start to the week 🤍
