We had an eventful run of three shows at Channel 24 in Sacramento this past week, including three CAKE tree winners! Rob won a navel orange tree, Val (rocking her Short Skirt/Long Jacket) won a Meyer lemon tree, and Amber won a beautiful mandarin clementine tree. We look forward to each of them sending photos of themselves with their newly planted trees.

We’re excited to share that we’ll be performing in Topeka, KS at the Topeka Performing Arts Center on June 27, 2026. Topeka holds an important place in American history, as it was at the center of the landmark Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education, which declared racial segregation in public schools unconstitutional.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Greg Brown’s passing after a brief illness. Greg was an integral part of CAKE’s early sound and development. His creative contributions were immense, and his presence—both musical and personal—will be deeply missed. Godspeed, Greg.

Motorcade of Generosity vinyl reissues are finally available for pre-order at the CAKE web-store. Thank you for your patience—it was important that we take the time to get the remastered audio exactly right. Choose from three exclusive color variants: maroon, tangerine, or classic black.

All three color variants are pressed on recycled vinyl, with LP jackets and sleeves printed using soy and vegetable-based inks on recycled CCNB/Enviro board stock.

Orders are expected to ship by February 28, 2026.
