We worked alongside California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, Strong Hearted Native Women's Coalition, Inc., and other state coalitions to call on to support essential funding to prevent sexual assault and release allocated funds that help survivors heal after harm!

VALOR and over 30 survivor and gender justice organizations demand accountability from the Department of Justice for its gross mishandling of the Epstein files and its continued failure to protect survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking.
Sexual violence and exploitation are not left vs. right issues. They are human issues. This is about whether justice applies to everyone or protects the powerful from consequences.

We are demanding that Congress tell the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to immediately publish Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) and expedite the release of congressionally appropriated funds. Survivors can’t wait.
California’s survivors shouldn’t have to question whether or not state leaders support them after experiencing harm.
