The Friday Respite Center was rather quiet today. Last night we received word that one of our regular guests has passed. Eugene was full of life and had a constant smile. He will be missed by the other guests and volunteers. ♥️

Ready to start the day at the Wednesday Respite Center. Just look at this beautiful wall of free books that are available to take and enjoy.

The City of Sacramento has extended weather-respite operations at both its Outreach and Engagement Center and the North Fifth Street Shelter through Dec. 8, as the region faces a continued period of rain and cold temperatures.
