Tomorrow marks the start of the SM River Rats 2027 tryout season as we begin building our teams for our 14th year of River Rats Baseball.

For nearly 14 years, the SM River Rats have been committed to developing players through outstanding coaching, competitive teams, premier winter training, and a proven pathway for long-term success. If you're looking for a program focused on player development and doing things the right way, we encourage you to come see what we're all about.

The SM River Rats 10U Elite are your 2026 Perfect Game ME/NH Majors League Champions! ⚾️

This group showed incredible toughness, teamwork, and determination all season long, finishing the job today and bringing home the hardware. We are extremely proud of the effort these players put in every day and the way they represent our organization on and off the field.

A huge thank you to Head Coach Scott Robitaille and coaches Scott Robitaille Jr., Jay Lamontagne, and Dylan Graffam for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to player development.

Championship Sunday is here!

Our SM River Rats 10U Elite takes the field at 8:00 AM, followed by our SM River Rats 9U Elite at 10:00 AM in the PG ME/NH Gold Bracket League Playoffs at New England Baseball Complex.

With a win, both teams advance to the Championship Game at 12:00 PM as they continue the hunt for gold.

Our SM River Rats 9U Elite and 10U Elite teams are headed to the Perfect Game League Championship Round after battling their way through pool play and earning the opportunity to compete for hardware!

Whether your athlete attends one day or all three, they'll receive quality instruction, plenty of reps, and a fun, competitive environment.

💥 9U ELITE
🏆 PG New England World Series – 3rd Place Finish

The 9U Elite squad earned a 3rd-place finish in their first tournament as a team at the Perfect Game New England World Series in Everett, MA. The Rats led the entire tournament with a .593 OBP and issued just 9 walks, the fewest of any team in the event.

Outstanding performances came from Barrett Turner, Xander Holmes, Joey Pulsifer, and Liam Higgins, but the entire roster contributed to an incredible weekend.
Most importantly, the group represented the River Rats' core values of Respect, Attitude, Teamwork, and Strength both on and off the field. Good luck this weekend as the #1 overall seed in the NH/Maine Majors Playoffs! 🐀⚾

Congratulations to our SM River Rats 11U Elite on capturing the 2026 PG New England World Series Championship today!

This group showed what SMRR baseball is all about all weekend long — toughness, energy, teamwork, and relentless compete. From the first pitch to the final out, these players battled through one of the top events in New England and earned every bit of this championship.

What makes this even more special is seeing the hard work from the offseason continue to pay off. The countless hours at Hitters Count, the winter training sessions, the commitment from our coaches, and the support from our families all helped build moments like this.

Extremely proud of this team, this coaching staff, and the way they represented the SM River Rats organization all weekend.

Memorial Day Championship Monday for the River Rats! 🇺🇸⚾

Good luck to our SMRR 9U Elite and SMRR 11U Elite teams as both squads compete today in the PG New England World Series Gold Bracket Championships!

9U Elite enters as the #4 seed while 11U Elite enters as the #2 seed after a tremendous weekend of baseball. Proud of the way our players, coaches, and families continue to represent the River Rats program.

On this Memorial Day, we also want to thank and honor all of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. We are forever grateful for those who gave everything for our freedom.
