As we wrap up another wonderful school year, we want to thank the C.K. Burns students, families, and staff for making it such a memorable one!
Today, we celebrated our outgoing 5th graders with a special Fifth Grade Clap Out, cheering them on as they take the next step in their educational journey. We also enjoyed a visit from an ice cream truck A Sweet Ride to help mark the occasion and celebrate all of their hard work and accomplishments.
Congratulations to our 5th graders—we are so proud of you and wish you all the best in middle school!

The CKB PTO is made up of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and talents to support our school community. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who contributes—not only our board members, but also the many volunteers who help in countless ways throughout the year, whether it's creating posters, running events, making popcorn, picking up supplies, or lending a hand wherever it's needed.
Time is one of the greatest gifts a person can give, and our volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to support staff, plan events, organize fundraisers, and create meaningful experiences for our students and families. Because of their efforts, our school is a better place.
A special thank you to our staff and administration for their continued flexibility, encouragement, and support of PTO initiatives. We truly appreciate your partnership.

Big Shout out to C.K. Burns Principal April Noble and Assistant Principal Thomas Partridge! 👏🏼
It takes a special kind of elementary school leader to balance professionalism with fun and our principal and assistant principal do it perfectly. When challenged to a ladder race without notice, they didn't hesitate to say yes, and they actually followed through and with a smile! Their willingness to join the fun brought lots of smiles and showed students that great leaders can work hard and have fun, too.
Mr. Partridge won this year; should we have a re match!? We hope you all had fun at the community event. More photos/videos to come. Big thank you to all of our volunteers. Truly. CKB Proud. 💙🤍🫶

Join C.K. Burns for Our Annual Community Celebration! Friday, May 29th on the CK Burns Playground. This is a fun free event sponsored by the PTO thanks to the communities continued support.
The raffle basket winners will be announced in the evening on Friday, May 29th at our CKB Community Event. You do not have to be present to win. Tickets will be sold during the event for $1 each ,or 6 for $5 Cash Only.
We will have bounce houses, activities, DJ Chris Gordon, Maine to Boston Photo Booth Rental, water, popcorn, popsicles, and more while supplies last.
Big thank you to the PTO for all the planning that goes into this. Thank you to CKB dedicated admin and staff who are right alongside us. Thank you to all the volunteers who will run this event!

They will be sold during school for students only cash only Tu 5/26, W 5/27, Th 5/28 and then Friday 5/29 at our community event.
The PTO believes in inclusion and every student will receive one free ticket during school to take a chance at their favorite basket.
