It’s a slow-cooked spread made by simmering apples for hours until they turn rich, thick, and packed with flavor—a long time tradition right here in the Appalachian region!

Back in the day, families would gather for “apple butter boilings,” cooking huge batches in copper kettles over open fires. It wasn’t just about food—it was about community ❤️

🍏 So what can you do with apple butter?
