We’re offering two unique lab experiences this summer:

Rock Band Lab (June 8–12)
Step into the role of a working band. Over the course of the week, participants rehearse together, develop tight ensemble playing, and prepare for a live performance.

Creators Lab (July 13–17)
Designed for musicians who are ready to explore original music in a deeper way. Participants will develop their own ideas, learn how music is structured, and shape a piece from concept to completion.

This summer at Daggerhart Music Academy, we’re excited to welcome a brand new offering:

West African Drumming with Jay Beck

Join us for a powerful, hands-on group experience exploring rhythm, tradition, and community through West African drums.

This class is open to all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new to drumming or looking to deepen your rhythm and musical connection, you’ll be guided in a supportive and engaging environment.

Our Winter Cultural & World Dance Series continues this week.

On Wednesday, we’ll explore the vibrant traditions of Mexican Folk Dance.

These dances evolved from a rich mixture of Spanish, Indigenous, and African cultures, creating colorful and energetic styles that have become synonymous with Mexico.

Expect lively rhythms, expressive movement, and a fun opportunity to experience one of the world’s great cultural dance traditions.

Drop-in rate is $15 per class.

Thanks to the generosity of the FABricator's Curriculum grant, we are excited to offer a brand-new small-group beginner piano class at no cost to the first four learners who sign up.

This class is perfect for complete beginners ages 7 to 12. Each learner will receive personalized attention in a small group of four, build a foundation in rhythm, technique, and note reading, and go home at the end of the four lessons able to play several simple songs with confidence.

We recommend that each learner has access to an acoustic piano, digital piano, or keyboard at home for practice.

Signups are open on our website through January 31, 2026. The class will be scheduled as soon as signups are complete.
