Join us June 25th, 26th and 27th from 2:00–3:30pm for a creative 3-day clay camp designed for kids ages 8 and up!

This camp’s theme is Cylinder Base Building, where young artists will learn how to turn simple clay forms into imaginative creations like castles, fairy houses, dice rollers, pencil holders, and more. Campers will sketch their ideas, build with clay, and glaze their finished pieces while exploring creativity and hands-on pottery techniques in a fun and encouraging studio environment.

Perfect for creative kids who love art, storytelling, and getting their hands muddy!

Getting to know my new space over the last few weeks has been incredible fun! We’ve been working to make things look and feel inviting & inspiring! This is a very cool place that will most likely constantly evolve as long as I am fortunate enough to steward here. I will cherish every minute of it! I am blessed! Thank you all!

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. Some may have even wondered if my studio was a thing of the past. But, that couldn’t be further from the truth!

So, now that The Clay Trail has made the big announcement, I can proudly proclaim from the ‘loft tops’ that my new location has moved just a few doors up on Main Street. I am now located just past the velvet ropes and up the beautiful steps inside The Clay Trail’s expanded building at 211 N Main. I’ve been blessed with the mezzanine and top loft floor for lessons, waiting room and retail. Great views of Rutherfordton Main Street, by the way!

I’d like to give big thanks to all my students and parents who have been so supportive, patient and kind throughout the move. Everyone has been so positive and uplifting with words of encouragement!

I am so grateful to my wife, Dad & Mom-in-law! There’s no way in this world any of this would have happened without them! 💞 💞

P.S.- I’ve now been tasked with maintaining the 3 flower boxes in those top floor windows. You know the ones that started looking like trees were growing! Someone please give me some ideas on what type of artificial plants to put up in there! 🤣

My husband was next to me in the ribbon cutting as he has relocated his business Chad Gibson Music Lessons! He is now located upstairs with retail in the mezzanine and his lessons in the top floor.

We would love to welcome everyone to join us May 30th 4:30-6:30pm for an Open House! Come see the new hand building studio, extra retail space for The Clay Trail and of course Chad's new space!
