We are looking for a foster for our old senior guy, Rockstar.

Rockstar has some health issues so we are not sure how much time this ole boy has. We would love to get him in a hospice type foster home. We will supply everything he needs. You supply a safe place for him to live out his life and lots of love.

Please let us know if you are interested in being Rockstar’s foster. You must be local to Rutherford County NC and be able to get him to and from his vet appointments.

Call the shelter at 828-980-0016 to arrange to meet Rockstar. We are open Monday - Saturday 10:00-4:00.

Please make sure your pets have shade and clean, fresh water at all times. They are depending on you.

Today is the day! At Rutherford County Animal Control Services, we offer a Low Cost Rabies Vaccine Clinic to help keep your pets happy, healthy, and protected! Join us on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:00am–4:00pm at 545 Laurel Hill Drive in Rutherfordton, NC. Rabies vaccines are just $5 per shot, and no appointment is needed. If you can’t make it today, our next clinic is July 7th!

‼️ For everyone’s safety, please remember that all cats and ferrets must be in a carrier, and all dogs must be on a leash. ‼️

If you’re unable to make it on clinic day, we also offer appointments Monday through Saturday from 10:00am–4:00pm for $10 per shot. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call 828-980-0016, we’re more than happy to help!
