During the 2026 graduation ceremony on Tuesday night, the annual John B. Holstead Alumni Scholarship was presented to Taylor Roller.

Taylor was a part of the Bearcat swim, cross country and track teams. He served as Student Council Vice-President and was named as 2026 Prom King. Taylor is an Honor Graduate who spent time serving as a Bearcat Mentor to our freshmen and as a buddy to our special needs students through Bearcat Buddies. He was an active member of FCA and National Honor Society.

Taylor has a bright future ahead of him and will make the Bearcat Nation proud. “After graduating high school, I plan to attend Louisiana State University, where I will major in psychology while pursuing the 3+3 law program, an accelerated pathway that allows students to earn a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor in six years instead of seven. This major pathway will allow me to begin working towards achieving my law degree in which I plan to specialize in family and custody law. I have been accepted into the LSU Honors College, where I look forward to challenging myself academically and surrounding myself with similar driven students who will push me to grow as a student and most importantly as a human.”
