Peachfest is this Saturday!
We are mostly prepped and are excited for it.

Several of us are making plans to accommodate/hold customers produce (after purchase) for pickup later in the afternoon so there won’t be a concern about spoiling your produce while you walk around. Tomorrow we would typically be setting up in front of the Ruston post office as well as other places.
Instead we will be selling from the farm tomorrow from 8-6 (later by appointment only).
The focus will be on harvesting.
Veg updates:
We are pulling more and more corn every day, the okra is starting to come in nicely, peppers and potatoes need to be harvested, and guess what?!??
We found 2 ripe watermelons tonight as evening was approaching!
The watermelon and cantaloupe fields will be walked through tomorrow though we do have a few to open up our sales room with (for any early customers) (they will not last long).
Eggplant is starting to grow and our Cherokee purple tomatoes are looking beautiful. We harvested a load of them tonight. Cherry tomatoes will be collected and didnt we just harvest cucumbers?! We need to go through those rows again as they are growing super fast this time of year.
Zucchini is dwindling down, squash is as well so grab some while you can. We will be replanting these soon so we don’t go too long without them. Pattypan/scallop squash will be around a little bit longer though. The purple hull peas are vining and looking lovely. They will be coming soon, so be on the look out!!!
And as far as canned items:
We have dill pickles, spicy dill pickles, sweet pickles, spicy sweet pickles, dilly beans (these are my favorite) as well as chow-chow.
Pickled red onions sell out every time we make them. More will be made this week (possibly tomorrow). Pickled peppers/pepper sauce will be made this week as well.
Address: 2456 Highway 818, Ruston.
Turn by the farm sign into the driveway, go straight until you see fields to your left, the driveway veers to the left and we’re at the end of the drive in a red brick house. Honk your horn so we hear you and just inside the side door is our sales room where everything will be set up.
We hope to see y’all soon!
Tomorrow hours: 8-6
Friday hours: 8-6
Saturday: at the Ruston Farmers Market from 9-1, farm sales from 2:30-5:30.
