Coates Family Reunion

We had a wonderful time today! We had delicious food, egg hunt and precious time spent together Looks like next year will be at the beginning of October! I will know definite plans in the next couple of months and will also be making an updated page that I will send an invite for. Thank you again for everyone making the time, as we all know how short life can be.

I will have a remembrance table set. If you would like to bring photos of loved ones who are no longer with us, please do.

I need an estimate of who is able to come to the reunion. Trying to figure out if I am going to pay the increased rate or find a restaurant with a large room that can be reserved. Troy Hart passed away last night. I will let everyone know details as I receive them. Prayers for Charlotte Hart, their children and grandchildren. So grateful we saw him at our last reunion. He will be truly missed.

This is Lynn’s daughter Dani! I will post pictures in one second! I know your mom and dad are watching down more proud than ever!!
He’s here!!!! 9 lbs. 1 oz. 20 inches long came on June 6 after being in labor for two days. I did end up with a C-section. I am doing well baby is doing well and we are all home together resting finally. 💙

We had a wonderful reunion today. A few that have left us were especially missed today. Mike, Adron, Sharon, David Allen, Lynn, etc will always be dearly missed. Too many to count.

Thank you for all who were able to come and for those who were unable to make it, know that we missed you.

The next reunion will be April 19, 2025. We will do an Easter egg hunt for the children. I will be getting a head count when it gets closer to time. Safe travels for everyone and big prayers to those who are battling illnesses and missing loved ones.

Update from Brenda. Prayers needed for Jerry.

Morning!! I wanted to update you on Jerry!!! He will have surgery Monday morning to place a feeding tube in!!!
He’s lost over 10 lbs. in 2 weeks!!!
Can’t swallow food and now he’s struggling to drink fluids so please remember him in your prayers 🙏

Next Sunday is the day!! I hope to see everyone there!

Please pray for Jerry and Brenda Powell. Jerry has been diagnosed with Stage 2 tongue cancer and it’s in his Saliva glands!!! He is in his 3rd week of Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy!!! Chemo is once a week and Radiation is 5 days a week!!! Very nauseous, fatigued and has bad dry mouth. The goal is to shrink tumors and avoid any surgery!!!! All prayers are appreciated 🙏
