Smith Law Offices is excited to host our 3rd Annual School Supply Drive during the month of July. We will be accepting donations to help local elementary students start the school year prepared and confident. 🎒✨

📍 Drop-off location: 301 S. Bonner Street
📅 Dates: July 1 - July 28, 2026
⏰ Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Needed items include glue sticks, crayons, pencils, erasers, blunt scissors, paper towels, Kleenex, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, wide-ruled loose leaf paper, composition notebooks, and more.

Last week, Mike wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week with a visit to Ruston Elementary School — and it came full circle when he got to catch up with one of his former teachers.

After visiting with Mrs. Till, Mike says he can truly say he has been blessed with some of the best (one is pictured here).

Teachers spend more time with our children than we get to spend with them ourselves. They are such an important group of people, and we want to be sure they are recognized for all they do each day.

Mike is a proud supporter of Lincoln Parish Schools through the adopt-a-school program. Very grateful for all of the teachers who give endlessly for our community.

Our office had so much fun at the senior expo last week! Talking and visiting with our local senior community filled our cups on Thursday!

Last week we had the honor of hearing from Judge Bruce Hampton and Assistant District Attorney Mike Smith, both of whom are Ruston Rotarians. They talked through our juvenile justice system, and it's clear that they care deeply about serving families. Thank you to each of them for sharing their time and expertise with us at the meeting, and also for the immense service they provide to our region.

It was a GREAT day for some pickleball and supporting the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Louisiana!! Our office has been a proud supporter of this organization and all they do for the children in our community and all over North Louisiana 💙🥒🎾 💙
