The train whistle just rolled through the pines again this morning.
There’s still nothing like standing on the porch (or in the saddle) watching that historic railroad cut straight through the ranch. Horses look up, dogs c**k their heads, and for a second the whole place feels like it belongs in another century.
Summer is in full swing and the forest trails are at their shadiest and greenest. Cool dirt underfoot, filtered light through the pines, and 4,000 acres of state forest waiting right outside the gate—no trailering required. Bring the horses. Bring the people. Bring both. We’ve got room for the whole crew (and a little extra now that the ranch is growing).
Whether it’s a quiet weekend with just you and your favorite trail partner, a big family reunion, or a group of friends who need to unplug and ride… this place was made for it.
