Jacksonville ISD will remain closed on Tuesday, January 27, due to hazardous travel conditions and weather. While some areas are deemed safe, many other rural roads and bridges in our district are not. Please continue to monitor our communication platforms for updates. Stay safe and warm!
The Cherokee county CSCD will be closed tomorrow January 27th 2026. We will reopen on Wednesday January 28th at our normal hours.

⚠️ Roadways are slippery, so please only get out if you must for shelter. If you do have to travel:

The Cherokee County CSCD will be closed on Monday, January 26th. Please stay safe out there.
The Cherokee County CSCD will keep an eye on the weather and will follow the lead of Rusk ISD and the Courthouse. We anticipate a late Start on Monday and will post an update as more information is available.
Cherokee County CSCD will be closed for Christmas until December 29th 2025.
