You can trust Him today!

During this pandemic it’s easy to grow spiritually lazy and become inwardly focused. Remember today that God has given you unique gifts to share with others. He never intended us to hoard our gifts for ourselves, but to share them with those in need. Pray that the Lord will show you opportunities to fully use the talents He has given you. The greatest command is to love God and love people....so let’s get after it! Amen?

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:1-6 NIV)

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. (2 Peter 1:5-9 NIV)

What a fantastic month so far with Disciples 4 Christ. Real Issues Real Jesus was invited to teach full day workshops at Hilltop and Mt View. We tackled real issues the ladies faced in everyday life: Distractions, Conflict, Deception and Purposelessness. While the teaching was biblical it was also practical, and they loved the content. The men served the ladies meals and led worship. Every table facilitator discussed these issues to awakening purpose / intentionality in the lives of the incarcerated. The recap speakers were incredible and knocked it out of the park. EVERY SINGLE VOLUNTEER played a role and did their part. As the saying goes, there is no “I” in T-E-A-M and every single member served selflessly!
