Although winter has set in here at the ranch, there are still a variety of projects happening every day! Just recently we had a calf born, that was an exciting day for the Alexander's! We are expecting more calves in the coming weeks, as well as baby goats in the early part of March! We are continually working to bring our agritourism dreams to life! Events are coming, we will keep you posted on event dates!

The food we eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine, or it can be the slowest form of poison!

After our first freeze the Alexanders are wrapping up the last of the 2013 garden season! We are thankful for the bountiful harvest we got this year! We have spent the last few weeks canning all of the extras to store away for the long winter days ahead!!

The Alexanders have placed a fresh produce stand at the end of their driveway! We currently have tomato's, pie apples, zucchini, yellow squash and eggs! More to come as the garden produces! Please come on over and take a look!

The Alexander kiddos have busily been working to all summer ready their animals for the Douglas County Fair. Aug the 6th was the first day of judging animals. As of yesterday the kiddos had done very well. Brendalenn, placed 2nd in the dairy and utility with her Toggenburg dairy goat, as well as taking first with her two geese. And Jedadiah Alexander placed first with both of his chickens!! Woo Hoo guys!! CONGRATS!!
