The focus of today's camp is on vitals and canine care. Campers are being taught how to administer shots and take vitals, make homemade horse treats, and receive instruction in proper dog training.

Behind every healing journey is a special member of our herd. Our horses are more than just animals—they are trusted partners who help children, teens, and families build confidence, develop coping skills, and experience the therapeutic power of connection.

Each horse has their own unique personality, story, and gift for helping others. From gentle giants to playful companions, our herd plays a vital role in supporting mental health, equine therapy, and animal-assisted services while also representing the heart of our rescue mission.

🐴❤️ Celebrating a Year of Partnership and Impact

For the past year, we have been honored to partner with Dallas Child and Family Guidance Center to provide FREE equine therapy services for youth ages 5–18 who meet YES Waiver state qualifications.

Through this partnership, at-risk youth have had the opportunity to experience the healing power of horses while building confidence, developing emotional regulation skills, improving communication, and strengthening resilience. Equine therapy offers a unique and effective approach to supporting mental and emotional well-being in a safe, encouraging environment.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Dallas Child and Family Guidance Center to help make these life-changing services accessible to children and families who need them most. Together, we are creating pathways to healing, growth, and hope—one child at a time.

We had two loads of dirt delivered to our site by the Dirt Detective today!!! We are preparing the foundation for our new barn and are grateful for all the support.
