The first Meeting for the NAMI Family Support Group is tonight at 6:30 pm! If you know, love, care for, support, work with, or advocate for someone living with mental illness, this is a great opportunity to learn skills and find support to be a better partner in their mental health journey. Whether you call First Rowlett your church home or not, we hope you’ll join us for this monthly support group. We will meet on the 3rd Monday of the month, beginning on June 15, from 6:30-8:00pm in The Lighthouse, which is adjacent to our main building. What a fun Sunday in worship as we continued our At the Movies series featuring the movie “Away We Go”! We were reminded to love like Jesus and that love is a choice. Our children's director, Alexis Blue, dropped by in her parrot costume to remind us that Rainforest Falls VBS is only a month away. We are looking for adult leaders to join our jungle adventure! Kids and adults will explore the nature of God’s love through music, games, crafts, snacks, and unforgettable Bible adventures. Get ready to trek through the rainforest and discover that Jesus is our greatest guide!

Join us this Sunday June 14, at 9:00 am (Traditional) and 11:15 am (Contemporary). Pastor Melissa will continue our sermon series "At the Movies." We will have a fun photo op and popcorn! For more information, please visit https://www.firstrowlett.org/worship

On Monday, June 15 and Monday, June 22 from 2:00-5:00 pm in room 140, we will have a Decorating Workshop to prepare for VBS. We will make vines, leaves, rocks, and flowers. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

Our Youth Choir is finishing up their trip to Colorado and heading home today. It has been a great week filled with fun, singing, river rafting, hiking, and sharing the love of Christ with senior adults living in retirement homes!
