Worth Metroplex that started cooking for competitions in 2010. We love doing this as a hobby since we all have full time jobs, and though it can get kind of expensive at times, it is so much fun!

We got back on the horse this weekend! After a couple years off the Marinatorsbbq team was back in competition this weekend in Terrell Texas. Although we did not get any calls it was a great time with family and food! On to the next cook!!

Today is the day we want to thank, and remember those that have served to protect our country. It takes somebody that is brave, and with a lot of courage to do what they do, so on behalf of The Marinators BBQ team, Thank You!

Out of 40 teams, we managed to get a 6th in brisket, 11th in Ribs, and 11th in beans. Thanks to all of you that came out and helped us out! Especially our wives! Until February or March.

Had a fun weekend, and it's always even more fun when we get a walk. Out of 60 teams, some really good teams to be added, we managed to get a 9th in brisket and 13th in beans. We were a little disappointed we didn't get a call in ribs or chicken, but that's the way this sport goes. Sometimes you do good and sometimes you don't, but it's always fun! Until next time!
