The Baklava was a hit with my dad, my neighbor, my hubby, and the ladies in my hubby's office! However, I'm my own worst critic, and I think I can do better. These same people can expect batch #2 in about 10 days!
The awesome thing about Baklava is that you can use any type of nut! These babies were about ⅔ walnut and ⅓ hazelnut.

This is probably my most requested cake...
Hummingbird Cake.
With banana, pineapple, & cinnamon, this cake is hard to resist! Pecans add a bit of texture and the tangy cream cheese frosting is just right - not too sweet!
