SSES+ Medically Fragile | Texas Education Agency Students who receive special education services, who are currently enrolled in a Texas public school, and are identified as "medically fragile" now qualify for the new SSES+ grant from TEA. Additional information about the SSES+ Medically Fragile program can be found below in the FAQs.

Until the state of Texas funds SpEd in such a way as to support Least Restrictive Environment, schools will either stop mainstreaming, or fail to fund students with disabilities accordingly, in the general education classroom, according their individual educational needs.
