Cedar Ridge High School Project Grad The purpose of Project Graduation is to support the upcoming graduates of Cedar Ridge High School.
Project Graduation has been a highly anticipated rite of passage for our graduating seniors. Parents, teachers, community members, and local businesses partner to provide our graduates with a fun and exciting event where they can celebrate their graduation night in a safe, alcohol and drug-free setting. Cedar Ridge High School Project Graduation is run 100% by volunteers and funded 100% by donations and community contributions. Statistics show (and history has proven) that graduation night is one of the deadliest for teens drinking and driving. High schools across the USA celebrate Project Graduation with the same common goal – keeping our graduates and communities safe after graduation. The History of Project Graduation: The concept of Project Graduation began more than 40 years ago in Maine after seven students from one community lost their lives on graduation night in an alcohol- and drug-related accident. As a result of this tragic accident, the community organized “Project Graduation” to offer their students an alternative celebration to the traditional graduation night of drinking and driving
temptations that can, all too often, end in tragedy. By 1986, Project Graduation activities were held in all 50 states! Cedar Ridge High School Project Graduation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that was established in 2012. We do not receive funds from the school or district budgets. Our success is dependent upon a strong partnership between business and community leaders, parents and guardians, law enforcement, and school officials for volunteerism, fundraising, and logistical support.

We're family, friends, neighbors, and community members and ask them to donate $20.27 in honor of the Class of 2027.

For every $20.27 donation submitted with a senior's name, that senior will receive 10 EXTRA RAFFLE TICKETS for the prizes at Project Graduation!
