Upgrade Studio ATX

Complete kitchen remodel - job included painting of all cabinets, installing pullout shelves in all cabinets, countertop changeout to butcher block, sink replacement, industrial pipe 3 tier shelf with customer butcher block shelving, lighting above dining table, glass tile backsplash all around, and all new shelf handles and pulls.

Turned a front yard with patchy turf into a nice river stone yard with tree rings and a flower bed. The ground was graded for drainage, roadbase compacted down, and w**d blocker fabric applied. Stepping stones from the curb to the front door with black stone accent completes the look.

Designed a built a BB/airgun insulated target box. It has a impact absorbing target pad which returns the pellets safely down to the bottom of the box. The fully lined box greatly reduces the impact noise. When not in use, a front cover can be installed to keep out any rain or pests.

This is a shout out to Tony Teng at Upgrade Studio ATX.

Designed & custom built a customer waiting lounge bar and cabinet. Features include a mini-fridge, sink with reverse-osmosis filtered drinking water, double cabinets and a trash/recycling bin area.

Installed a 16 ft metal handrail at the front entrance that had six large steps.

Designed and built a handicap wheelchair/walker ramp in a garage. It meets ADA recommendation of 10:1 slope. Ramp is fitted with non-slip tape.

Removed shower wall panels and tray. Re-routed plumbing for new rain shower fixture. Installed Hardiebacker and coated with Redgard sealant. Tiled all around shower and tub, including 3 niches and a continuous trim band. Insulated tub while bottom was exposed. Installed frameless shower glass. Also replaced the exhaust fan with a larger one and installed recessed lighting over the shower.

Assembled a 16’x16’ steel pergola. Additional features included an overhead fan along with a misting system.

Sealed off fireplace opening and created a smooth wall by skim coating. Applied stack stone panels from floor to ceiling. Re-routed in-wall wiring and installed new tv mount. Installed a floating cabinet in place of the tv console.

Designed and constructed a 6’W x 4’ D x 4’H trash bin shield, lined with paver stones for easy roll in and out. The rain gutter down pipe was redirected and the wall has an electrical conduit to allow easy connection to the outlet behind the wall.
