I’ve finally completed this temperature blanket. Each row represents the high temperature of a day in the year - the first year that Rex and I lived in Texas.
Glad to be finished with it finally and super happy with how it looks. But I’ll never do it again 😆

This Christmas, Rex and I are sitting at home and doing nothing. While to some that might be a little sad of a holiday, to me it’s pretty much a miracle. Over the last month, I’ve been to two emergency rooms, stayed a week in a hospital and then another week in a mental health facility. I can’t remember most of it, but to be able to sit and concentrate on this project next to the love of my life and my literal life saver is about as Happy Holidays as can be.

Hey friends. Here are some pictures I took during the middle of a metal breakdown the other day. I as trying to explain what colors the shapes were, among many many other bizarre things I think I scared some people with crazy calls and texts but I’m probably going to be released from the hospital tomorrow.

For my birthday my mom sent me some plant cuttings. This one is a Neon Pothos, which she took from a plant that she grew from a cutting of my Neon Pothos (which I subsequently neglected and killed). She sent it in a ziploc bag, which is also originally mine. (You can tell because it says Texas real big). Great sense of humor, mom. I love it.
