CONSERVATION TIPS
Consumers can help by turning off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances, raising thermostats 2 degrees, and ensuring pool pumps are not operating. Other conservation tips are available on the ERCOT conservation page and the Public Utility Commission’s Power to Save Texas. http://www.powertosavetexas.org/
Businesses also should minimize the use of electric lighting and electricity-consuming equipment as much as possible. Large consumers of electricity should consider shutting down or reducing non-essential production processes. http://www.powertosavetexas.org/Home/PowerPartners
