Good morning! Just got back from a first time trip to Savannah. The camellias were in full bloom and azaleas just starting to bloom. Getting back to painting for the Hico Art event on April 12th. We just returned from an amazing trip to Costa Rica. The tropical flowers were in full bloom and Tuscans everywhere.
In honor of this amazing trip, I’m painting bold tropicals and wildflower cards and maybe a few larger paintings if time permits. Here are two tropicals I finished this week.

Just got back from a girlfriend trip to Houston. Nonstop talking and so much fun thrift shopping. More meaning at 74 and 75. It was definitely a “Caroe Diem” get together.
Two commissions waiting for me. Can’t wait to start painting.

I painted Winston the Bernadoodle several months ago commissioned by a friend for her son’s Christmas gift. I’ve spent time with Winston and he is the most lovable giant of a dog (see photo below). Her son messaged me after receiving it. Thank you, Susan Mayson, for giving me the opportunity to paint gorgeous Winston!
