It’s ok to slow down and pause to be in the moment and make memories.
Life is short and sweet and meant to be enjoyed.
Being productive is great, but when was the last time you actually stopped and smelled the roses?
It’s not always going to be easy, but sometimes you just have to be your own ray of sunshine☀️.
TBH not really sure where I’m going with this, but the point is during the Holiday season it is so easy to find yourself wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of gatherings and Christmas shopping that we often forget to really take care of what’s most important..OURSELVES!
A healthy lifestyle doesn’t always just mean working out and 100% staying on track with our nutrition. It’s a LIFESTYLE meaning to be easy and take care of ourself. Even if it’s taking a deep breath, going for a quick 30min walk or even a walk to the end of the block and back.
Take time for you..rest..and enjoy every moment of every day🌻
What I wish I knew when I start my fitness journey…
💊There is no magic pill/diet. Sorry to break it to you, but these juice cleanse, detox pills, and fad diets do more harm than good and can interfere with the process. Counting macros and proper nutrition with exercise will ensure you will see progress.
🪞Stop comparing yourself to other people. They are in a different journey than you are. Your own journey is unique. It was meant for YOU. Plus, it won’t do you any good.
😴 Rest. Rest when you are tired but don’t quit. Recovery is crucial for muscle growth and your workout performance. Taking 1-2 days or even a week WILL NOT kill your progress.
💪🏽 perfection > weight. I cannot stress the importance of PROPER👏🏽FORM👏🏽. Perfecting your form will not only decrease your chances of getting hurt but know that in perfecting your form..the more weight you will be able to carry.
🔑 consistency is key. “Shocking” your muscles or changing up your workout daily does really nothing, however being on a training program will get you to the results you are looking for.
New Year New Goals! As your trainer I cant guarantee everyday will be easy but I can guarantee the end result will be 100% worth it! Let’s kickstart your New Years resolution in high gear💪🏽

So much to be thankful for..but most importantly thankful for this little turkey😉
This year it was just Bella and I. It was quiet and really nice..just the way I wanted it.
Dinner details: green beans, mashed potatoes, Bella made the cornbread, and a rotisserie chicken..because idk how to make a Turkey and that’s waay too much food for just the 2 of us😆.
Thank you 2021 for the lessons and blessings you brought. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2022.
