Neal Conlon and I just got back from a week in Vegas at the largest Cybersecurity and Hacker conferences in the world, where we were networking, connecting and building relationships. I’m reminded of the unmatched value of surrounding yourself with people who push you to be better. Relationships aren’t just about business—they're about personal growth, leveling up, and becoming the best version of yourself.
The Omnis Rising Lone Star Shootout at Staccato 2011 Ranch is not just an event; it’s an opportunity to build those life-changing connections.
As the saying goes, "Your network equals your net worth," and "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." This is your chance to be around those who challenge you, inspire you, and push you to rise above.
We still have a few spots open for the Lone Star Shootout, but they’re filling up fast. If you’re ready to be part of an elite group that sharpens each other, now is the time to secure your place. Don't miss out on the chance to build these relationships, because it's these connections that will help you achieve the next level of success.
Let’s keep the momentum going and make every interaction count!

What is Identity Theft and How Can You Protect Yourself?
Identity theft is a growing concern in our digital age, where personal information is constantly being shared and stored online. Understanding what identity theft is and how to protect yourself is crucial for maintaining your personal security and peace of mind.
What is Identity Theft?
Identity theft occurs when someone uses your personal information such as your name, Social Security number, or credit card details without your permission, typically for financial gain. Thieves can use your information to open new credit accounts, make purchases, or even commit other crimes in your name.
Common Methods Used by Identity Thieves
- Phishing: Fraudulent emails, texts, or websites that trick you into providing personal information.
- Skimming: Devices attached to ATMs or point-of-sale terminals that capture your card information.
- Data Breaches: Unauthorized access to data held by companies, often involving large amounts of personal information.
- Dumpster Diving: Searching through trash to find documents with personal information.
- Social Engineering: Manipulating individuals into divulging confidential information.
First Steps to Protect Your Personal Information
1. Recognize Phishing Attempts
Phishing attempts can be sophisticated, mimicking legitimate companies or contacts. Be cautious of unsolicited communications asking for personal information. Always verify the source before clicking on links or downloading attachments.
2. Use Strong, Unique Passwords
Avoid using the same password across multiple sites. A strong password includes a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Consider using a password manager to keep track of your passwords securely.
3. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring two or more verification methods. Even if a thief obtains your password, they’ll have a harder time accessing your accounts without the second form of authentication.
Additional Tips for Protecting Your Identity
- Monitor Your Accounts Regularly: Check your bank statements and credit reports for any unusual activity.
- Shred Sensitive Documents
- Limit Sharing Personal Information:
Understanding identity theft and taking proactive steps to protect yourself can significantly reduce the risk of becoming a victim. Stay informed and vigilant to keep your personal information secure.

Men, let’s get real. Growth doesn’t happen in your comfort zone. It happens when you’re pushed, challenged, and sometimes even broken.
The truth is, it’s hard to hear the raw, unfiltered truth about where you’re falling short. It’s even harder to look in the mirror, face your fears, acknowledge your failures, and admit your shortcomings.
But that’s where greatness is born.
At Omnis Rising, we’re not about making you feel good about your situation. We’re here to disrupt your comfort and ignite your potential.
Why?
Because true strength comes from facing the hard truths and choosing to be different. It’s about pushing past the fear that stands between where you are and where you want to go.
Why is it so hard for men to hear the truth and not run away?
- Facing Reality: It takes immense courage to confront the brutal facts of your life. Admitting you need to change is the first step towards real transformation.
- Fear of Failure: The fear of not measuring up can paralyze you. But remember, failure is a part of growth. It’s not the end; it’s a stepping stone to success.
- Societal Expectations: Society often expects men to be strong, unyielding, and unbreakable. But true strength lies in vulnerability and the willingness to grow.
- Ego and Pride: Letting go of your ego and admitting you’re not perfect is tough. But it’s essential for personal development and becoming the best version of yourself.
The Path to Greatness
- Look in the Mirror: Acknowledge where you are and where you need to go. It’s the hardest step but also the most crucial.
- Face Your Fears: Don’t let fear control your life. Use it as a motivator to propel you forward.
- Embrace Failure: See failures as opportunities to learn and grow. Each setback is a lesson in disguise.
- Choose to Be Different: Every day, make the conscious decision to be better than you were yesterday. Small, consistent actions lead to monumental changes.
Men, it’s time to step up. Let’s disrupt the comfort, face our fears, and unlock the greatness within us.
Join us today and break through your barriers. Step up, face your fears, and unleash your true potential. Your journey to greatness starts now!

I've been reflecting a lot lately on the state of our government and the recurring frustrations we face. Many of us are unhappy with how things are run, yet we find ourselves voting for the same people year after year, hoping for different outcomes.
Who among you has ever considered running for office? What stops you? Is it the overwhelming thought of competing against entrenched incumbents who have decades of political experience and vast financial resources?
The question that’s been on my mind is, how do we bridge the gap between the so-called “leadership” and the people they are supposed to serve? How can we bring new ideas and fresh perspectives into our political system when it feels like the odds are stacked against us with backdoor deals and the necessity of millions of dollars just to get on the ballot?
I believe that true leadership should come from those who genuinely represent the people's interests, not just career politicians. But how do we make this a reality?
I want to hear from you:
What are your biggest frustrations with the current political system?
Have you ever thought about running for office yourself?
What barriers do you see preventing new voices from being heard?
Let’s discuss how we can overcome these challenges together and work towards a government that truly reflects our values and needs. Your thoughts and ideas are incredibly important, and I look forward to hearing from you all.
