This opportunity allows our team to support the City with a variety of infrastructure initiatives, including roadway and sidewalk improvements, transportation projects, utility and stormwater infrastructure, development plan reviews, and other capital improvement projects that help enhance the community's growth and connectivity.

We’re excited to announce that Axis Infrastructure has been selected by the City of College Park to provide Architectural & Engineering Design Services!

As part of this award, Axis will support the historical preservation and adaptive reuse of the iconic Price Barber Shop — a meaningful project focused on preserving an important piece of the community’s history while creating opportunities for future use and engagement.

This project reflects our passion for thoughtful, community-centered design and our commitment to preserving spaces that hold cultural and historical significance. We’re honored to partner with the City of College Park on this effort and look forward to helping bring new life to a landmark that has long been part of the community’s story.

We’re excited to welcome John to the Axis team as our newest Civil Engineering / Land Development Intern.

John is currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at Kennesaw State University and is eager to gain hands-on experience in the land development industry. During his internship, he’ll be assisting the civil team with preparing construction documents and supporting ongoing land development projects.

What excites John most about this opportunity is learning more about the process of designing real-world projects and gaining valuable experience from professionals in the field.

We’re excited to welcome Kuber Patel to the Axis team as our newest Technical Architect.

With more than 8 years of experience in the AEC industry, Kuber brings a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex design challenges through collaboration, innovation, and precision. His expertise spans building envelope systems, code compliance, BIM automation, computational design, and multidisciplinary coordination across a wide range of project types.

At Axis, Kuber will be leading building envelope systems, overseeing construction document production, coordinating with structural, MEP, and civil teams, and leveraging advanced BIM and computational design tools to ensure technical accuracy across projects.

What excites Kuber most about joining Axis is the people and culture that make this team stand out. He’s looking forward to collaborating with architects and engineers who approach complex problems with the same level of rigor and technical excellence that drives his own work.

We’re excited to welcome Michael Love to the Axis team as our newest Senior Architect.

With 32 years of experience in the AEC industry, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge in architectural design, project development, and construction documentation across a variety of project types. With more than 25 years of specialized experience in the K–12 education market, he has dedicated much of his career to designing thoughtful, functional learning environments that support students, educators, and communities alike.

At Axis, Michael will be working alongside our architects and engineers to develop project programs, building designs, and construction documents for permitting, bidding, and construction.

What excites Michael most about joining Axis is the opportunity to work alongside a talented group of professionals who are committed to delivering excellent work—and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board.

Alright, time to turn up the volume because this one comes with a built-in soundtrack. Meet Jerry Scheirer — the guy who walks into Axis like it’s the opening scene of Top Gun, with Danger Zone playing in the background (whether you hear it or not is on you).

Jerry is all about delivering a great product, plain and simple. He’s the kind of person who leans into challenges, especially when they push him into new territory. Designing a system he’s never worked with before? That’s not a problem—that’s the fun part. Pair that with a tough client question, and you’ve got exactly the kind of puzzle Jerry enjoys solving. His approach is grounded and consistent: learn from experience, don’t repeat mistakes, and keep getting better every time.

Outside of work, Jerry keeps things just as dialed in. You’ll find him catching a game, spending time with friends, or heading to the bowling alley. And if something needs fixing at home, he’s already on it—home improvement is one of those skills he’s quietly mastered over time.

Jerry has had a hand in shaping some seriously impactful work at Axis, including contributing to Amazon spaces—projects that operate at a massive scale and require precision, creativity, and follow-through. Around the office, he brings that same steady energy every day, backed by a no-nonsense mindset and a Mtn Dew never too far out of reach.

Whether he’s tackling a brand-new design challenge or just keeping things running smoothly, Jerry shows up ready to execute—and maybe just a little bit like he’s about to take off down a runway.
