McLemore hotel opens for business ‘above the clouds’ on Lookout Mountain | Chattanooga Times Free Press The doors of the 245-room Cloudland at McLemore Resort hotel were officially opened to its first guests Thursday, a milestone in the development of Lookout Mountain's luxury golf resort in Rising Fawn.

This is an opportunity for an experienced and passionate woodworker to join a fast growing team.

Your responsibilities would be to:

- Efficiently and safely build projects from raw materials to finished pieces with guidance from the shop foreman.
-Identify supplies and equipment and hardware needed.
-Read and understand shop drawings.
-Understand and execute cut lists with a focus on material nesting.
-Analyze drawings for pitfalls in construction or human errors.
-Communicate project details to coworkers.
-Keep projects on schedule and track time spent using Quickbooks Time.
-Diagnose and solve problems in the shop and in the field.
-Identify all tools, supplies, and labor needed for installation.
-Install projects properly, efficiently, and cleanly.

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and ability. Must have valid driver's license and transportation.

As the first community building at McLemore, The Clubhouse is envisioned to be a central gathering place. The design inspiration draws heavily on its location overlooking McLemore Cove, the history of the area, and the natural materials of the region.

The first building in what will become a village center for the community, The Clubhouse houses a restaurant/bar offering a place for people to gather, a pro shop and locker rooms for players of the world-class golf course. Built from stone and heavy timber, the architecture embodies the notion of history and permanence with a heavy emphasis on views and connections to the outdoors.
