Today, Savannah Lakes Elementary was proudly represented at the District Improvement Plan Meeting. Our SLE stakeholders collaborated with district leaders to review data, celebrate progress, and provide valuable input as we work together to establish goals and priorities that support the success of all Alvin ISD students. 💙💛

Operation Backpack 2026 – Voucher Pick-Up Begins This Week!

Do you need school supplies for the upcoming school year? Families can begin picking up Operation Backpack vouchers this week at any Alvin ISD campus front office.

📅 Voucher Pick-Up Dates:
✅ June 8 – June 11
✅ June 29 – July 2
✅ July 6 – July 9
✅ July 13 – July 16
Please note: Vouchers will not be distributed after July 16.

How It Works:

1. Visit any Alvin ISD campus during one of the voucher distribution weeks listed above.

2. Request an Operation Backpack School Supplies Voucher from the front office.
🚨Enter through cafeteria at SLE due to construction 🚧

3. If you have more than one child, you must obtain one voucher per child. (You may pick up all vouchers at one campus.)

4. Bring your voucher(s) to your child’s school during the week of July 27 to receive a backpack and school supplies. Each campus will communicate its specific distribution date and time.
