FunctionZ does it again!

We are proud to celebrate the tremendous success of the ISA Brazos Section 44th Annual Automation Expo & Technical Session held at the Dow Academic Center in Lake Jackson, Texas.

This year’s event welcomed:
✅ 47+ exhibiting sponsors
✅ 330+ end-user attendees
✅ Representatives from BASF, Braskem America, Celanese, Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, Dow, Freeport LNG, Huntsman Corporation, Olin, and many more industry leaders.

The expo floor was packed with innovation, networking, and industry collaboration as exhibitors showcased the latest technologies, products, and services supporting the automation and process industries.

A special highlight was the educational technical session presented by ISA Fellow Marco Ayala, who delivered an outstanding presentation on cybersecurity and its growing importance within industrial operations.

Attendees also enjoyed great BBQ, refreshments, exciting door prizes provided by our sponsors, and valuable connections with industry peers from across the Gulf Coast region.

This event marked another milestone for the ISA Brazos Section and demonstrates the continued strength of the automation community. Thank you to all of our exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, attendees, and board members for helping make this event one for the record books.

FunctionZ and the HI Foundation were honored to support Candlelighters’ 6th Annual Break a Clay for Candlelighters at the Greater Houston Sports Club. 💛

With nearly 300 shooters in attendance, the day was filled with community, philanthropy, and heartfelt support for children and families impacted by childhood cancer.

Guests enjoyed an amazing setup featuring Cajun pasta from Cooking.With.FlavouR, cold refreshments, ammo, swag, and information on upcoming philanthropy events — all while coming together for a meaningful cause.

One of the most special moments of the day was paying tribute to FunctionZ’s own Kristin Hartley’s son, Lance. 💛 Lance was a vibrant young boy whose legacy will forever live on, and we were proud to honor him with matching awareness shirts and continued support for childhood cancer awareness.
