We have a yellow zinnias, we’re going to call her 𝓢𝓾𝓷𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓮. We also have a new Cosmo, it’s not fully open yet.

I think I do one of these every year. Compare the price of a “fresh” bell pepper from the store vs buying seeds or starters and growing them yourself. We use A LOT of peppers over here so if I grow nothing else I’m growing a variety of peppers. I grow from seeds and transplanted starters.

Yesterday we used fresh bell peppers from the garden. Last week I used a couple to make a dried season blend and a few more to make a frozen blend. That’s easily a $6-$10 purchase from the store every time. But instead I was able to harvest 6 peppers from my $5 plants and will be able to harvest more all season. You can also taste the difference between store bought and homegrown, it’s fresher.
