We have a new recruit at Take Note Troupe! Last night in Fair Oaks Village Park, BeGee the chicken first considered joining our tech team, then the audience. She wanted a little more involvement so she went over to consider stage management before strutting onto the stage to join the cast.😂
Our Petruchio (Simon Hromiko) used his best Play Theory skills- he practiced Let Go and Play and Accept and Build by incorporating BeGee right into the scene, and Look Outward by making his scene partner look good.🐔 It was hilarious all around and the audience approved of the improvisation going on.
We can't promise more chickens, but we can promise 4 more nights of great shows before Taming of the Shrew is over. This Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the cast and crew will be at Quarry Park in Rocklin.
For those of you wondering, yes, we will have food trucks at Rocklin this year. Don't miss the show of the season.
As always, Shakespeare in the Park is family-friendly and free, though donations are welcome. Bring your blankets and chairs (higher chairs will be placed farther back), your friends, and your sense of humor. We'll provide the rest.
