I had a good run. I’ve been building Halloween art for 8 years without any vandalism. Last night, that ended. The grim reaper, Baphomet, my lady skeleton and the 12 footer all got destroyed or damaged. My security cameras picked up nothing, of course. I’m oddly calm. But still not a fan of people, in general.

A custom “Awen” symbol I was commissioned. The awen symbol is a modern Neo-Druidic emblem featuring three rays descending from three dots, surrounded by three circles, representing divine inspiration and the connection between the spiritual and physical worlds. Attributed to Iolo Morganwg in the late 18th or early 19th century, it symbolizes the triple nature of the Druid path and the flowing energy of “awen” – a concept of divine inspiration and life force. While the symbol itself is relatively new, it is used by Druids to represent an ancient idea.

By popular demand, I am offering blank, unpainted skulls so you can customize them to your needs! Spray paint and acrylic paint work best on these two-part, resin skulls. I suggest you spray the skull with a clear-coat sealer if you use any type of stain. My skulls are 2-3 pounds each and mimic a life size adult skull. They are 5.5 inches tall by 7.5 inches deep by 5.5 inches wide. The circumference is 19 inches.

This one drove me f**kin’ buggy. D’oh! Seriously, this custom request was really challenging. As usually, I over-committed. The epoxy clay I use to sculpt these add-ons is really sticky so getting all the legs to secure was painstakingly slow. Then painting this sucker was equally as taxing. It came out cool, though. # skullart
