Open # 1 Forest Lake. Boats are out fishing. Weigh in starts at 1pm at the Pizza Pub. We were here 2 seasons ago and it took close to 17 pounds to win. We are excited to see what it takes this year.

CONGRATULATIONS to Parker and Mason for getting 2nd Place today on Washington/Stella Lakes in the MN BASS jrs State Qualifier. They brought 13.98 lbs of smallmouth and largemouth to the scales. They have earned their spot at state July 17th on famed Lake Pokegama in Grand Rapids. This jrs team of ours is exciting. Our future looks so bright!! Go Irish ☘️ 🎣

Busy week continues, the jrs team was in Waseca tonight battling it out for the Minnesota Youth Fishing Organization-MNYFO Wednesday Night Series No trophies tonight, but we did have some boats up there for most of the evening. Top finishers:
4th-Stowell/Wittchow
6th-Brown/Brown
7th-Horak/Hollenbeck
12th-Heuring/Briggs
14th-Johnson/Berndt

Good luck to Parker/Mason & Brecken/Karsen who are competing tomorrow on Washington/Stella Lakes in Delano, MN for a spot in the MN jrs BASS State TOC.

Open #1 Week has finally arrived. This week puts us on Forest Lake. This event will kickoff our 3 tournament march to see who qualifies for the BASS State TOC on Leech Lake September 12-13. It also kids off our 2026 Battle for Team of the Year. Top 3 placing boats from your school score points at each of the 3 events. The busy summer season is full on. Our HS boats battled the wind and fought in a field
of 204 boats on Lake Minnetonka today our highest finisher was the Middleton brothers who ended up in 46th place. But no one has too long to wait for redemption. We have a couple of jrs team boats fishing tomorrow on Tetonka/Sakatah Lakes for a shot at the BASS jr State Tournament. Then Wednesday the jrs are again in action on Clear Lake in Waseca. HS boats get to kick off our conference season on Friday at Forest Lake. Then immediately after, we have 5 boats heading to East Kentucky to compete in the 2026 HS World Finals on Lake Cumberland all of next week.

Super busy weekend for our team.

1) Today we had 7 jrs boats competing in the JATT event on Lake Waconia. It was a windy day out there and all of our boats battled. Great job out there anglers and boat captains. Our top finish was a 15th place for Stowell/Wittchow. We also had some bonus catches that didn’t count in the tournament, but created memories!!

2) We had some parents jump in and volunteer at the Fleet Farm Lakeville Hotdog/Brat stand. That is one of the greatest strengths of this program; Our families involvement and dedicated to this program. I am so grateful to have families like this in our program.

3). Good luck to our HS team competing tomorrow in the SATT Lake Minnetonka Event. We have 11 boats going out tomorrow, hunting for 21 state spots to be awarded to the field of 204 boats.
