Back in 1970, Rosemount Hockey wasn’t filling trophy cases yet — it was just a group of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors lacing ‘em up and building something from scratch.

The 1970-71 season featured intramural and “B” squad games… and one year later, the Irish officially hit the varsity stage.

From humble beginnings to a proud tradition — not bad for a bunch of kids with skates, grit, and a dream.
