If you’ve ever thought: “I wonder why they don’t just ______…”
…then we should probably talk.
RAAA In-House Baseball is looking for new board members to join this season. Several current board members (including Program Director) have kids aging out soon, and we need the next group of parents to help carry the torch and keep leveling up the program.
This isn’t a full-time job — it’s a chance to have real impact on the experience for hundreds of kids.

Friendly PSA so nobody gets stuck in the wrong lineup
When registering for 2026 In-House Baseball:
Register your player for the grade they are in RIGHT NOW (current grade, not next fall)
And for friend requests:
Each player can request one mutual friend (both players must request each other)
Friend requests aren’t guaranteed (except siblings in same age group)
We do our best to accommodate — and the cleaner the info, the smoother team formation goes.

COACHES WANTED (No experience needed — just a pulse and a decent attitude 😄)
When you register for RAAA In-House Baseball, you’ll see an option to volunteer as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach.
Here’s the truth: the program runs on great parent volunteers — and coaching is one of the most rewarding roles in the whole organization. You’ll be supported with structure, help, and resources.
Coach = more teams, better rosters, smoother season
Kids remember their coach forever
You might accidentally have one of the best summers ever

ROSEMOUNT BASEBALL FAMILIES — it’s freezing… so naturally we’re thinking baseball.
Registration for 2026 RAAA In-House Baseball is officially OPEN and we’re already gearing up for another fun, high-energy season with great coaching, great kids, and great summer memories.
Quick registration reminders:
Register for your child’s CURRENT grade (the grade they’re in today, not next fall).
Preschool: must be age 5 by 8/31/26 to play.
Coaches needed: When you register, you can volunteer as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach — and yes, we’ll support you. (Translation: you won’t be thrown into the deep end with no floaties. We need to volunteers in the coaching roles.)
Board interest: If you’ve ever said, “Why don’t they just ______?” — we want you. Several board members are aging out soon, and we need the next wave of parents to help keep improving the program.
Friend requests: 1 mutual friend request allowed (both kids must request each other). Not guaranteed, except siblings in the same age group.
Don’t wait — the deadline will sneak up like a curveball.

Curious what the RAAA In-House Baseball Board actually does and whether it might be a fit for you?
Join us for Parents at the Plate: RAAA In-House Baseball Board Info Night – a casual chance to chat, ask questions, and see what’s involved.
Date: 1-18-26
Time: 2-4pm

At this get-together, you can:
Meet current board members (we’re just fellow parents)
Hear what roles are opening or are already open as our kids age out
Learn how much time different roles really take
Decide if now, later, or “not yet” makes sense for you

One of the biggest questions we hear about joining the RAAA In-House Baseball Board is:
“How much time does it actually take?”
For most roles, the answer is about 2–4 hours per month, with a few busier weeks before the season starts. We’ve broken things into specific areas so you can help where you’re most comfortable, like:
Registration & Scheduling – helping with divisions, teams, and game times
Fields – coordinating field needs
Communications & Social – sharing updates with families
Events – picture day, Opening Day, etc
Sponsors/Fundraising – working with local businesses that support RAAA
We’re not looking for someone to do everything. We’re looking for a few more parents who can do something.
If that sounds doable, let us know here and we’ll follow up with more info:

When you look at our Pre-K through 8th graders on the field, you’re seeing the future of RAAA In-House Baseball.
As a board, we’re just a group of parents who’ve been helping keep things running—registration, schedules, uniforms, fields, picture day, and more. Many of our kids are now aging out, and we need the next group of parents to step in so the program stays strong.
If you care about:
Keeping in-house baseball available and well-run
Making sure younger age groups have the same (or better) experience
Having a voice in how things are done
…we’d really like to talk with you.
If you’re even a little curious, please fill out this short interest form and consider coming down to North20 on Jan 18 @ 2pm:

You’re not signing up for a job on the spot—just letting us know you’re open to a conversation.

Ever wonder who makes sure your kid has a team, a field, and a game schedule that actually works?
It’s not magic – it’s a small group of parent volunteers on the RAAA In-House Baseball Board. We’re just moms and dads who want the program to stay healthy and fun for our kids and the kids who come after them.
Several of those parents now have kids who’ve aged out or will soon, and we need the next group of parents to step in.
You don’t need special experience – just:
A kid who loves to play (or did in the past)
A willingness to help a few hours a month
An interest in keeping this program strong for future seasons
If that sounds like you, we’d love to connect.

You’re not signing your life away – just raising your hand to have a conversation. We hope to see you there
Wow, hard to believe how fast the season has moved. 3/4 and 5/6 age groups will have tournaments this week. Coaches will have all the details, seedings, etc.
Good luck teams
