Join us in welcoming Dr. Hera Ansari to Cascade Optometry and to Roseburg.

Dr. Hera Ansari was born and raised in central New Jersey, where she attended and graduated from the Rutgers University Honors College. Afterwards, she traveled westward and graduated from the Arizona College of Optometry in 2020. She also completed an ocular disease residency at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas in 2021. Now, she has chosen to settle down outside of the big cities and has been enjoying what Southern Oregon has to offer.

In her free time, Dr. Ansari enjoys crafting, archery, reading, and playing with her three cats.

Duties and responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients, answering insurance questions, collecting payments, checking insurance eligibility, assisting with pretesting patients, and maintaining office cleanliness.
Characteristics: strong communication and listening skills, interpersonal skills, friendly, caring, strong organizational skills, able to work efficiently and accurately, proficient with computers, quick learner, and a good attendance record at prior employment.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
