Hazel has officially found her family!
My last little baby from this litter is RESERVED.
Hazel made me work for this one. She had so many wonderful families interested in her, and choosing where she belonged wasn't easy. I wanted to make sure the home I chose was truly the right fit for this sweet, curious, adventurous girl.
And now she has her family!
With Hazel's reservation, all five of Maddie and Charlie's babies have officially found their homes.
Howard, Hilda (now Skye), Harriet (now Dolly), Hank and now Hazel.
Five tiny babies I watched come into this world, helped raise, worried over, fell completely in love with, and eventually trusted other people to love as much as I do.
This litter has been such a huge part of my life for the last three months, and seeing every single one of them placed with families who are genuinely excited to love them means more to me than I can put into words.
The nursery may be getting very quiet, but my heart is very full.
If you've been following along and hoping for a Coosa Valley Ragdolls baby of your own, we're now looking ahead to our future litters. Stay tuned for information about joining our waitlist for future babies.

Today is Hankās turn to go home, and this goodbye is going to be a hard one for me.
From the beginning, Hank has been my little shadow. Heās the kind of kitten who wants to be close, who melts into you for cuddles, and who starts purring the second he knows he has your attention. Somewhere along the way, this big sweet boy became my little buddy.
Iāve watched him grow from a tiny baby into an absolutely massive 4 lb 11 oz boy, and Iām so incredibly proud of him. This morning I wrote his final weight on our chart and crossed out his column, and Iāll admit that one hurt.
But as hard as it is to let him go, I couldnāt have chosen a better family for him. They have loved him and been excited about him from the moment they chose him, and I know he is going to a home where he will be adored, spoiled, and very, very loved.
Thatās what makes raising these babies so bittersweet. We pour so much of ourselves into them knowing that eventually the day comes when we have to hand them over and trust someone else to love them as much as we have.
Have the best life, Hank. Thank you for being my shadow, my cuddle buddy, and such a special part of this litter.
Your new family has been waiting for you, big boy. Itās finally time to go home.

Today itās Harrietās turn to say goodbye.
Harriet has always had a way of quietly asking for exactly what she wants. While the others might climb, pounce, or demand attention, Harriet would simply reach up with that little paw and ask to be picked up. And of course, I always did.
She has grown into such a beautiful, sweet girl, with that unforgettable face and a gentle personality that made her so easy to fall in love with.
Today, those little paws are heading off to a brand-new home, where sheāll have new places to explore, new favorite spots to discover, and a family of her very own to reach for when she wants to be held.
These goodbyes never get easier, but there is something incredibly special about watching a kitten youāve loved from the very beginning leave your home and start the life you raised her for.
Harriet, I hope you never stop reaching up when you want to be loved. I hope there is always someone there to scoop you into their arms.
Go enjoy your new adventures, beautiful girl. You are so very loved, and you always will be.
Happy go-home day, Harriet.

And then there was ONE.
Our sweet Harriet has officially found her person!
Sometimes it feels like a kitten is simply waiting for exactly the right person to come along, and I think thatās exactly what happened with Harriet. The little girl who reaches her paw up when she wants to be picked up is going to a home where sheāll have someone all to herself to love, follow around, snuggle with, and thoroughly wrap around that tiny paw.
I have a feeling Harriet is about to live the life of a very spoiled little princess, and I couldnāt be happier for her.
Four babies have now found their families, which means only one little Coosa Valley baby is still waiting for hers.
Congratulations, sweet Harriet. You found your person.

And just like that, itās Hildaās turn.
This sweet little girl has always had a gentle way about her. She never needed to be the loudest or the wildest of the bunch to make herself special. Hilda has always simply been Hilda ā beautiful, sweet, a little reserved, and completely impossible not to love.
Today she leaves the only home she has ever known and heads off to meet the family who has been waiting so patiently for her.
There will be so many firsts ahead of her now. Her first night in her new home. Her first favorite spot on the couch. The first time she decides exactly where she belongs and makes herself completely at home. Before long, this little girl who has been such a big part of our everyday life will become a big part of someone else's.
That is the bittersweet part of raising these babies. I get to love them first, but I raise them knowing that someday I have to let them go be loved by someone else.
Hilda, I hope your new adventure is filled with warm laps, endless cuddles, ridiculous amounts of spoiling, and a lifetime of being treasured.
Be brave, sweet girl. Your family is waiting for you.
Happy go-home day, Hilda.

And just like that⦠Howard is off on his next adventure.
Today we said goodbye to the first of our five babies, and this one was harder than I was prepared for.
For the first 12 weeks of his life, Howardās whole world has been here with usāgrowing up with his mama and siblings, stealing everyone elseās food, purring his way through meals, flopping over for belly rubs, and making us laugh every single day.
Now his world is about to get so much bigger.
He has a wonderful family waiting to love him, a new home to explore, and an entire lifetime of adventures ahead of him. And while my heart hurts watching him leave, this is exactly what we raised him for.
Thereās something incredibly bittersweet about loving these babies from their very first moments, watching their little personalities emerge, and then handing them over to the families who will love them for the rest of their lives.
Go be your ridiculous, sweet, food-stealing, belly-up self, Howard.
Your next adventure starts now.
Weāre going to miss you more than youāll ever know.

Poor Howard. I made him suffer the indignity of having a bath and a blowout before he leaves for his new home today. He's big mad. And feels I should be ashamed of myself.

Tomorrow is going to be a hard day at Coosa Valley Ragdolls.
Howard and Hilda are the first two babies from this litter to leave me and begin their lives with their new families.
I knew this day was coming. Itās the whole reason I do thisāto raise happy, healthy, deeply loved babies and then place them in homes where theyāll be cherished for the rest of their lives.
But knowing that doesnāt make goodbye easy.
For 12 weeks, Iāve watched these babies grow from tiny newborns who fit in my hand into these funny, beautiful little personalities who follow me around, climb all over me, make me laugh, and have completely woven themselves into our everyday life.
Hilda, my sweet, gentle girl. And Howard⦠my ridiculous, lovable boy who has absolutely stolen a piece of my heart. Iām going to miss those little faces more than I can put into words.
The bittersweet part is that I couldnāt have asked for better homes for either of them. Their families have been excitedly preparing for them, loving them before theyāve even gotten to hold them, and I know they are both going to be so incredibly spoiled.
So tomorrow, Iāll probably cry. Okay⦠Iāll definitely cry.
But they aren't just leaving me.
They're going home. š
And getting to be the person who loved them first is one of the hardestāand most beautifulāparts of raising these babies.

We have a problem: Hazel and Harriet are ready to move out, and apparently nobody has told their future families yet. š
These are the FINAL TWO available babies from our current litterāand they could not be more different.
HARRIET
Affectionate, expressive, and completely convinced that humans exist to serve her. She reaches those little paws up when she wants to be picked up, takes playtime VERY seriously, and has no problem telling you exactly what she wants.
HAZEL
Our silly little bedtime hunter. If your feet move under the blankets, the game has officially begun. She loves being involved in whatever her people are doing and brings plenty of entertainment wherever she goes.
Three of our five babies have already found their families. Now it's these girls' turn.
Both are ready to go home NOW and start causing trouble in somebody else's house.
