RAMBO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

🐶 DOG OF THE WEEK! 🐶

The Humane Society of Rome would like to introduce our dog of the week, Rambo!

Rambo is a 3 year old handsome German Shepherd who is very athletic and loves to please his handler. Rambo would be best in a home with a German shepherd experienced family.

Rambo’s favorite activities are to play fetch, tug and go for hikes. Rambo has mastered basic commands including come, sit, down, and stay.

Draco is an energetic 2 year old male pit bull mix. Draco is a very sweet and intelligent boy, but his main obstacle is physically being in our kennel.

Draco is great with children, does very well with strangers when he is approached correctly, and he has mastered all basic commands. Draco does great with female dogs, but can be selective towards other male dogs.

Draco has been a pleasure for our staff to bring on public outings, and to fundraisers, vet appointments, and training classes. He truly shines when he is given the love and effort he deserves. We are asking for help for Draco to find his way out of our kennel so he can continue to become the best version of himself in a loving home.

‼️FOUND DOG‼️

A Good Samaritan found this dog on Dewey Road in Westmorland. The dog was found with a black harness on, and a tan leash attached. The dog is a male.

He is being held at the Humane Society of Rome. If this is your dog, proof of rabies and licensing is required to reclaim.

Sadie just turned 7 years old, and her one wish is that after 1,177 days she will finally find the furever home just for her 🎁

The staff had fun celebrating Sophie’s 6th birthday today and gave her some wonderful goodies and a kong!
