Introducing Maci Andrews – VIP Cages’ Softball Training Partner
Maci Andrews is a Rome, GA native and 2022 Rome High graduate who excelled as a multi-sport, utility athlete — earning All-Region honors, playing high-level travel ball, and receiving multiple collegiate offers.
After high school, Maci chose to spend 15 months serving a Spanish-language Church mission before pursuing softball at the next level. That experience deepened her perspective, her faith, and her passion for serving others — values she brings directly to her coaching.
Upon returning, Maci walked on at Georgia Highlands College and earned a scholarship, going on to earn Conference Pitcher of the Week honors, play multiple positions at the JUCO and summer collegiate levels, and maintain a strong batting average with power — all while overcoming significant injuries.
With extensive experience alongside high-level collegiate coaches and instructors, Maci is ready to pour that knowledge into the next generation of softball players. She offers training in hitting, pitching, fielding, fundamentals, arm care, and mental approach.
We’re thrilled to have her on the VIP Cages team!
